Coral Separated from base?

I have had this piece of coral for a month and all seemed well and good. Then this morning I awoke to this:

I have 2 MP10 for Water-flow and have them ramp down at night and up to about 70% in the day. These had some movement but it was always Gentle so I don't think it was too much flow that did it. Here is a 5 Second clip of my flow:

I Dose Calcium (420) and ALK (9). Sump filter with Chaeto keep Nitriate, phosphates at zero. Water is 78.

What did I do wrong, am I doing wrong? What can I do to save what is left or is this coral a goner?

Doubt it has anything to do with it but I just had some baby snails 'hatch' in my tank and they are a Lot of them right now.

What coral is that? It seems like your coral has been destroyed by BJD. I would cut off that branch and dip the others in iodine fast to save them.

What is BJD? I don't know what king of coral it is.

Brown Jelly Disease.

Was there some brownish slimy stuff there? That would be BJD.. If so, the affected heads need to be cut off, but first siphon off as much gunk as you can. It is generally considered to be some sort of bacterial infection and can quickly spread to the rest of the coral and even to other LPS. There is no known cure.

I just did battle with it and lost 5 or 6 heads of a frogspawn before I got on top of it.

Euphyllia corals (hammers, frogspawn, torch) like low flow and low light, it looks like you gave this coral too much light being that high up. I would right away put them on the sandbed in a low flow place so the tentacles gently flow back and forth. LPS corals do not for the most part like high flow, that is for SPS corals.

It looks like it did polyp bailout due to the high light I'm guessing as your flow does look ok. One other thing NEVER glue or permanently place corals anywhere until you know they are thriving in the spot that you want them.

Thanks for all the advice! I did end up loosing this piece.... Do you have any method to temporarily place a coral piece in place?
