AI Hydra HD Regional Weather

I recently purchased the Hydra Twentysix HD with the expectation that it would incorporate the regional weather settings that's available on previous versions of the fixture. For some reason, I'm unable to find this setting in the myai app under effects->weather...

Am I missing something? Is this feature discontinued?

I bought the 52 HD's under the same assumption. I emailed AI when I found out that this feature was not available, and they said thanks for the idea and that they would send the idea to their programmers. As if their programmers didn't already have the idea? That is crazy considering the non-HD version with a Director will do this. The HD series also will not currently allow you to turn on clouds without also having lightning. There is no way to turn lightning off at all unless you disable weather. I, for one, think it is ridiculous but am in hope that they will add these features in the future.

Lightning is ridiculous in the first place.

Agreed. However, I feel cheated when I'm paying top dollar for a lighting fixture and the older version has more features. Unbelievable

I'm quite ****ed a bit about the lack of features from prior models as well. Somebody got lazy or cheap.

I recently got 2 hydra 26 HDs for my new tank. I like the less white/more blue compared to the regular hydra 26/52, but I definitely preferred using the director over what's built in to the HDs.

I just don't get it... What would happen if Apple releases the iPhone 7 without siri and "may" add it back in the future? Their stock would get crushed... Technology is supposed to move forward, not backward.

Yes hyper drive is cool, but if I turn these up past 70%, I'll scorch my corals.
