Tunze 9004 break-in period
Just added a new Tunze 9004 to one of my tanks and I was wondering if anyone who has used the 9004 skimmer, or similar, could provide their experience as to what the average break-in time is for this skimmers is.

I just got one, and it took about 2 weeks (alot of that being that i was experimenting with height and air flow) for it to start skimming consistently and the micro bubble to go away. It could be shorter if you are experienced with skimmers beforehand, but I wasn't.

Thank you for the responses. From your posts it looks like it is performing as usual. I am on day 3 and I am still experiencing microbubbles. I am getting some skimmate but it is clear and wet.
