PVC or flex line for sump plumbing?
Hey guys, I am in the process of finishing up my upgrades on a system that I purchased used, and one of the last pieces I have gotten to is the wet dry setup. I have a 40 gallon long that's going to be going under the stand to replace it. Right now, the setup is two flex lines. I know the return line can easily stay as a flex line, but I am not too sure about the drain side being as I'm not sure how to go about securing it so it doesn't pop out and flood everything in the house. Thank you guys for your time!

Depends on the flex line. Those wet/dry corrugated pipes were not really intended for pressure applications.

Flex line is great for down pipe from overflow to sump and the return of recommend vinyl hose. PVC is permanent and expensive due to the unions you will need to install
