Coral ID? LPS I Believe?
Hi. I got this coral in sad shape from a LFS for free, and it came loaded with bad hitchhikers. I floated the bag, and I'm doing a quick acclimation because of the restrictions of my nano. Then I'll freshwater dip for ten minutes, and add it in.
1. Is this procedure okay? 2. ID? 3. How can I try to turn it around? |

Freshwater dip will kill the coral, and the hitchhikers

Me 0 - Hitchhikers 0
I took it out as soon as I read that. I've placed in in a low, calm spot in the tank. Will post Before and After pictures tomorrow morning. |

Buy some dip and treat it in a separate container or refuse it in the first place but don't jeopardise your tank just because it was free. Also if your fish store has corals in that bad a shape, you probably shouldn't be buying from them.
