150 build rock work

Hey y’all, just set up my 150 and I was looking to get opinions on the aquascape. I’m a big fan of the natural reef look not just one big rock structure. I spent all day today creating a pillar look. Let me know what y’all think. Should I connect some of them or leave it as is.

I say leave it. If you plan to do SPS, it'll give them more room to grow. Eventually, the pillars will "grow together" as the SPS grows. In the meantime, it'll give more free swimming room for your fish. Good luck!

Thanks for the response I am definitely going to do some sps but it’s gonna be a mixed reef.

Pillars look very close to the surface. Would you have much room for corals to grow vertically? Each pillar does look similar height, and will probably block some flow when the corals grow in. This might be a good thing for some corals. Have you looked into the golden ratio aquascape? https://reefs.com/magazine/aesthetic...caping-part-i/
