That depends on how you modded the black boxes...
What dimming signal does it need? 0-10v analog? Pwm? 5v?

Ghl with all its line up controllers are very good. I switched my apex with ghl p4 and very happy with the performance.
They recently released coupled of controllers the p-mini and P-light as well as the full p4.

If you are referring to the ac connection the ghl come with USA plug. Their product is certified for USA. As long ad you buy the USA version.
Is that what you referring to? The main ac power plug?

This is ghl usa distribution in USA, they are based in New Jersey I believe.

https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/usa...gory/profilux/

Marine depot also carry their products.
The best thing about ghl is that their conteoller come packed with many functions that you need to buy modules and add wires with apex.
P4 controller as an example comes ready with
Ph, salinity, orp, temp
ATO
Leak detection
And couple more functions.
So of you compare apple to apple (function to function) ghl come cheaper than apex. Not to mention the simplicity in wire connextions...at least that was the case for me.
Also their build quality is absolutely superior and their probs teading are way more stable and reliable which was ine of 2 reasons I switched to ghl.
The 2nd reason is their line up, they are coming with really cool products like ion director that will test paramaters (ca,no3,potassium..etc) using ion probs and their existing kh director is one of the best in the market.

All in all I al very happy with the performance so far.
