Vinegar and Sodium Nitrate mix
Hi. I would like to know if mixing Vinegar and Sodium Nitrate would create any adverse reaction. Let me explain.... I have been dosing vinegar for years to my reef tank (as carbon dosing), via dosing pump. I also have been dosing Sodium Nitrate for years, manually.
I'm thinking, would it be possible to mix both together (corresponding 1 week volumes of each) without any adverse reaction? THANKS! |

Any chemist that can help me with this? Can I mix vinegar and sodium nitrate together without any adverse reaction? Will both retain their properties and stay stable for, let’s say a week or two?
