get a small, plastic soda bottle and cut the top off so it looks like a funnel. Now spin the top you just cut off and push it back into the body of the bottle. Place some food in and sink it into your tank. Now wait until your fish finds the food and goes inside.

I have had success by feeding from my net for a week....

I put the food in the net, net in the tank while you hold the net in a position to catch a fish. If the fish want to eat they go in the net. At first the fish will be very nervous. By the end of the week every fish will be in the net

Place a piece of plexiglass as close to the front of your LR as you can , then all the way to one end of the tank.Leave as much space between the plexiglass and LR as you can. Then put another piece about 6 or seven inches away. You can then feed in this new corner for a few days. When the fish are in that new corner simply slide the second piece of plexiglass to close the corner. Then you can select the fish for removal! in

The way I do it works every time I have a small vase about 8-10 inches tall 4 inches wide (hour glass shaped), put a frozen cube (tie it to something so it won't float out) inside the vase, when the fish swims inside it will not know to swim up to get out and you will have your catch!

This thread always gets inevitably linked, because it's one of the best on the subject; many techniques inside.

I always use a flashlight to the eyes when the lights are off. When the net comes in behind them, they can't see it.
