flame hawk won't eat

I've got a flame hawk. been in the tank two days now. I haven't been able to get him to eat and I've tried krill, brine and mysis shrimp. he won't touch the spirulina flakes either. My other fish are eating well (blue damsel, coral beauty, royal gramma). He isn't being picked on, so I'm trying to figure it out. should I take him back to my lfs? how long til I should give up on him?

Are you talking about dried or frozen shrimp of the above, or live foods? You can try teasing him with some live foods. The movement of prey stimulates the appetites of predaceous fish. He was probably a wild caught specimen, and hasn't transitioned to eating prepared foods yet. Give him some time, 2 days is not much to adjust.
