What bulb would you choose of the two for most growth ?

AB10k or XM10k 250w se..... I'm looking for excellent growth rate with no actinics..... I know it may appear a little yellow with not much flouresce..... I'm looking for the most bang for the buck out of my 250 watt Ice Cap Electronic ballast.....

I not going to be much help I run 6 Power compacts I thought I'd at least reply I know it's frustrating to ask a question and get no help give it some time I'm sure someone will have some advice. Although I am running 4 96 watt 10000K and 2 96 watt actinic which help to bring out some color someone told me the blue's are more important than white's but I'm not sure. My set up has had plenty of growth.

I run a 400watt XM 10K and love it. LOts of growth!!! So if it was me I would go XM.

I have the feeling it's gonna be the XM...... I hear they are very bright bulbs........Is this true?

Mine is bright white. I think it is one of the best bulbs for your money. I believe their is a thread on here that compare the different bulbs with different balasts and shows pics. Great source of information when trying to decide on a bulb.

my frind has 2 250 watt ushio 14K and his grows pretty good, looks good color too, he also has DE so its more powerful

I love my xm's... now just to get a new ballast so they match!!!

I'm sure XM will come out way ahead. But I've used both and I'd definetly get the AM lamp personally. I think it is the better looking lamp and you'll get plenty of growth.

I picked XM and it will be here monday.... The bumps are for more reading so I can work myself up to the new par level..... Like a kid on Christmas Day...... I can't wait for the new bulb....
