is 2 400 mh too much
is 2 400 mh too much for a 75 gallon tank or will one be more then enough.i want to start getting more corals that need alot of lighting

if the tank is a standard 48" tank, then you should go with 2x250W mh. 2x400W would not be absolutely necessary. a single 400W wouldn't cover the length of your tank by itself.

i would go with 2x250 mh but they are so much money and i can get 1 400 mh with a hood for $140 and i have other deal i'm working on for other 400 mh for $75 i can't buy 2 250's for that price.is 2 400's going to be too much.is there such thing of haveing too much lighting

what are the dimensions of your 75 gallon? i think it would be overkill for it, thats just my opinion. although i have 2x400w 14k reefstars over my 60 inch long tank thats 18 inches wide and 24 inches tall, good luck, hope this helps you...
