Need a skimmer for nder tank

I need a simmer that will fit under my tank in the stand rigt next to the filstar canister filter. the stand isn't very big but would liketo have a skimmer in there and woul run hoses to the tank. is this possible without spending arm & leg

Well are you going to set up a sump? Also, what size tank would the skimmer be for?

You'd need to set up a sump or do a custom design of some sort. I think a sump would be the way to go.
