skimmer problems

I have an etss 800 that al of sudden is not bubling much lost like 90% in 2 minutes time. Is this skimmer any good any suggestions its currently connected to an iwaki 40 in a 240 gallon tank any help would be appreciated

is the pump cleaned, can you somehow add more air to the water

Did you add anything to the tank. Some additives can kill foam production for a few hours.
