Coral Banded Shrimp
I'm a nub when it comes to this. I've had him for about two weeks and he seems to be living alright. What does this guy eat and should I be intentially feeding him? I've directed some brine shirmp his way with a turkey baster a few times.

i feed mine a pice of squid or clam every now and then on a long as wooden "tooth pick" but I don't think there is any need to. It goes through the rock picking at it and eating and when I feed the fish it catches some and eats.

Mine likes to eat flakes. I drop one by his hide spot every few days.

cbs
I have never directly fed my cbs, I do drop pellet food in his area but have not seen him take it, he eats everything off the rocks, he has been in the tank for 9 months now and is growing a lot.. My 2 cleaner shrimp on the other hand love to be fed.

I drop a shrimp pellet in the tank once per day. No matter where my cbs is in the tank he picks up the scent and makes a bee-line for the pellet. When he finds it he sticks it in is mouth and it looks like he is smoking a big stogie.

When i use to have one i fed mine a piece of raw shrimp. It would come out and attack it before i would even let go of it and hed take it in his cave and eat it all himself. I fed him a piece every few days or so.
