Free Bee tank I'm excited
Just got an old display case from where a friend works they were going to throw it out.
The glass is 3/16'' and I'll be getting rid of the plastic edge moulding and assemble with silicone. The size is 11''high by 18''wide by 30'' long works out to about 25.7gal. I thought this would make a good little peninsula tank because of the width can have something different on each side. I have been patiently waiting for as many free components as possible and this works great plus I figure later when I go bigger this would be a great sump or frag tank! I just put together a 10gal sump the other day with no tank to go with it so the timing is perfect now I can start buying pumps and such. Anyway thanks for listening just excited. Suggestions on set-ups or rockscaping or anything would be cool. Thanks |

This may be a stupid question.... Will it hold water?

I'm going to take the glass and silicone it together like a regular tank and not use the plastic edges you see in the pic. So the answer to your question is I hope so.
