i have a reef tank with yellow tang, coral beauty, percola clown, mandarin, lawn mower blenny , and cleaner shrimp. will i be alright with a naso tang my lfs said i would but once i got home did some on line and some say no! whats up?

The problem you will run into will be the size of the tank and the size of the naso. They require a very large tank and you are looking at a large bioload. I would not reccomend it,unless you have a bigger tank then the one you have stated(55 gal). I have one in my 150 with clowns, yellow tangs, shrimp and mandrin, and they all get along, but they are in a much bigger tank.

yeah they are great fish, mine has only grown about 1/2" maybe in the last year, but over the long run they are too big for a 55 really. Thats the only bad thing I can think of, IMO they are very docile tangs.

Naso needs about 150 gal. or better.
Looks to me like you've got a pretty full tank already. I wouldn't add any more fish.
