OK i've been slackin'...algae questions...

title says it all...i haven't done a WC in months, stopped dosing ZEO months ago, pretty much just been replacing evaporated water, picking alittle algae, and feeding fish. but i'm ready to make a comeback. everything still lookin' good, in fact corals have grown tremendously while slackin', fish still ok, besides a tang that went MIA, and hawk fish which jumped. i'll be doing a big WC soon, cleaning sump, MJ1200's (soon to be replaced w/ TUNZE), cleaning skimmer and getting 100% back into full obsession mode.
- here's the deal, i took some caleurpa from a friend about a year ago and placed it in a hang on small fuge temporarily to reduce any nutrients. i don't know how, but somehow it has gotten into LR. none was touching anything, it was all contained. i guess maybe from spores. i've been battling that for months. i pick it but it just keep comin...i guess if i pick it daily and start blowing a couple times a day w/ baster, add more cleanup crew, increase flow and WC, i can beat it, right???????????also there's some new crap growing which i can only describe as fern looking green algae. it's easier to remove though. anyone know what this can be? any suggestions to my problems?
