Sicce PSK-1000 from CS2 Black Pearl Dead
The pump from the CS2 Black Pearl I bought 2 years ago is dead. Is this normal? I thought the Sicce pumps were indestructible.
I don't dose anything on my softies thank and took the intake off to see if anything is stuck but the pump looks brand new inside. I cannot spin the impeller; completely seized. Any guidance would be appreciated. Is there any warranty on these or am I past it and SOL? It took out the pressure switch in the process too.....arghhhh! I recommend a fuse be added to these guys. |

Hi Bernard,
Nothing is indestructible, but we certainly stand behind what we sell and so does Sicce, which makes them one of the main reasons we love these pumps so much. Please submit a contact form through our website so we can collect some additional information and we will get these issues resolved as quickly as possible.

Dan,
Thanks for prompt reply. I have submitted a request through contact us form. Please review. I understand that nothing is indestructible but I guess I just expected little more out of such acclaimed product. The reason I was surprised and somewhat disappointed is because I have what many would consider "cheap" pumps: Koralias, BlueLine, Rio and they all work without a problem. My tank was setup 6 years ago and other than a light fixture (ATI SunPower, love it) APEX (love it) and Avast skimmer (love it) everything is original and running as it should. Anyhow, without getting boring, thank you for looking into this. |

I get it, no need to explain. We stand behind what we build and sell and even though the warranty has expired on this we will take care of it for you.
Nice tank!
