Octopus inked
I was moving my newly found octopus into a different tank, got him in the bowl fine, (didn't acclimate because they run the same water loop) and he inked when he hit the new tank. Now I realize a major water change is necessary, that doesn't bother me, the question is... Does him inking affect him at all negatively? do I need to do anything special aside from probably an 80% water change which means the whole loop so about 300 gallons =(.
Should I take the new octo tank off the loop with the other aquariums and stand it alone?

Run skimmer and lotsa carbon. Keep up with your water changes, other than that I personally don't know the toxicity to other livestock... if it even is harmful in the first place.
