flatworms?

so i been noticing these things on my glass they are super super tiny, when i stand real close to my tank"my nose touching the glass" i notice these small things crawling on the glass. i googled flatworms but they dont look like that, i tried to take pics of it but the camera wont focus on things that small :/. they its hard to explain how they look like but here it goes ... they some look like ants " like a 8 figure" some are smaller and look like "Ticks" rounded butt. im not sure if i should panic or not. by the way my tank has been up for a little less than 2 years.

Likely copepods and isopods. Harmless.

copepods and amphipods most likely.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copepod

they look like little crustaceans? probably appear white to translucent?

copepods are the little round ones and the amphipods look like tiny shrimp.

There's another "pod" that is common in tanks and those are isopods, they may be the ones that look like a "figure eight"

Either way they are beneficial for a tank.... fish will eat them as little morsels of delightful goodness.
