Possible population for new tank
Just thinking aloud for the moment, as the tank will be set up next summer or so, but I'm mulling over the possible population. This is what I've thought so far.
Keep in mind that it is very rough, and I haven't given it proper thought yet, it's very much a draft, but I thought I'd put it out so that possible problems might be spotted before it becomes more than a draft. The tank will have a base of 2m x 1m and be 60cm deep. Pair of clowns (ocellaris or percula) 2 yellow wrasse 6 dartfish (thinking either zebra or scissortail, but open to suggestions) 10 Squamipinnis anthias 10 cardinals (To be seen which ones in particular Banggai is a favourite, but blue eyed is also nice) blue tang tomini tang yellow tang foxface harem of 4 dwarf angels (thinking woodfordi, but open to suggestions) trio of bellus angels three or four other wrasse goby and pistol shrimp (will try and source a mated pair) pair of valenciennea puellaris Would the tank be big enough for an emperor angel? Would be nice if possible, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if it's too big for the tank. |
