Water parameters out of whack?

Hello I recently added a kamoer doser to my system Im not really sure the proper way of dosing two part. I tested the water today and my cal 400 and alk is 11.2-11.5 /3.88-3.99

my temp is at 75.8

now my RBTA all shriveled up and mouth is wide open i dont know what to do thanks

Those numbers are reasonable, although I'd let the alkalinity drift down for a bit. Anemones sometimes shrivel up a bit for some period of time. I wouldn't worry much unless it goes on for more than few days. How long has the RBTA been in the tank?

What was your alk prior to dosing?
Its the instability that causes problems usually.. All though elevated or lower readings can cause problems too..
But yes you numbers are not bad at all..

In general the proper way to dose is as follows..
First..
Read and see the acceptable range of parameters..

In general it is usually a good idea to target levels close to the salt mix you are using..
But realize that some brands have elevated parameters useful for those with heavier consumption but still want to avoid dosing..Like reef crystals.

Second.... Don't dose until your current water change schedule isn't sufficient to keep your parameters stable... and if you don't want to increase your water changes then you start dosing..

Third..Test to see what your daily/weekly consumption rate is..

Forth.. use the calculators to find out the suitable amounts to dose..

Fifth.. Start dosing and continue monitoring daily to ensure you aren't over or underdosing..

Once you see that your dosage is correct you can cut back testing to every week or every 2 weeks or whatever..

Thats pretty generic instructions but ask questions if you are still not sure.. Its important that you dose correctly..

From my experience anemones will take various forms which raise your eyebrows. That doesn't mean something is wrong. Just monitor them over a couple of days and they should go back to a normal appearance.

As for dosing, what has already been stated is pretty simple to understand. Bring the nutrients to the acceptable levels. Then test and determine consumption rates. From there you can use many online calculators to determine dosing values.

The alk is the 11 range shouldn't hurt the entmacea quadricolor (RBTA), IME. A quick change up or down might cause stress. What's the salinity?

I question the salinity as well. Sometimes BTAs act funny if salinity is out of wack.
