Hitchhiker ID

New to the hobby. Have a 65g tank with some live rock in it for about 10 days now, no fish. I've pretty much identified all the hitchhikers that came on the live rock except for this one. He didn't move for a week and then I caught him moving last night. He's about the size of my pinky nail and the shell snaps closed if I shine light on him.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but if it has a shell that snaps shut, it's probably either a boring clam or a scallop. From what I can see of the shape, I'd go with clam...
