how long to clear up after adding salt
I just got water into my tank and along with the water was enough salt to make 130 gal of salt water. its been about 2 days now and it doesn't seem like the water is as clear as before I added the salt. How long does it take for the water to totally clear up like before I added the salt?

did you add sand as well?
salt usually clears up in just a few hours. sometimes if it remains cloudy i'll add some carbon to help it along

I have a old canister filter on my mixing barrel stuffed with polyester fiber fill (pillow stuffing from wallyworld) that removes any undissolved particulates before water change day. You could try something like that to take care of the issue.
Also - DO NOT add dry salt mix to the tank once you have livestock. It can be quite caustic as it mixes up. You should always mix in another container. I like to mix mine 24hours ahead of time to allow it to mix well, clear up, and to double check the salinity.

Between 1 hour and 2 weeks depending on many variables..
It will clear.. Give it time.. 2 days is often not nearly enough..
