Coral identification

Not sure what this is. Got it as an extra on this zoa frag and it was about the size of the zoas. Now it has colored up and gotten significantly bigger. It moves like a mushroom coral but I haven’t seen any that look like this. Any idea?

Is the skeleton hard? Pretty sure it's a fungia aka plate coral.

I don’t think the skeleton is hard. It’s elevated about half an inch on the frag and I can see it flowing when water comes up underneath it, especially after turning the return pump back on after a water change. But It definitely looks like one after looking up pictures.

Yeah. The pictures were under white light but all the colors really pop when under the blues. Also looks like the mouth is a bright pink/orange under blue light. After looking up plate coral I’m pretty sure that’s what it is

Yes, it's still a little one. It'll eventually come off the plug, just place it on the sand bed.
