Does Red Sea salt expire?

I was given an unopened bucket of Red Sea salt (20kg). The batch number on it is peeled off. I don't know how long it has been around.

Does salt expire? Can I use it? I have several tanks - some fish only and some with high-end SPS. Safe for all?

Id open it up then chk for lumping a sign moisture may have gotten to it. Mix a batch then chk what it reads on all params, if ok id use it. I had a lumpy bag of Reef salt once, it didn't mix up well and the minerals did not mix to the same ea time either even after re-mixing the dry salt, so if its lumpy id only use it for fish only from what i observed.
