here is a list that I have been thinking about.
*90 gal drilled*
35 gal sump

-blue girdled angle (3+inches)
-6-7 green chromis
-pair Clarkii,Maroon,Occy/Perc

..thought it would look nice.

I have in various tanks now;
2 Clowns
Target mandarin
Pearly jawfish
Red firefish
Cleaner shrimp

And would like to add the following
Multicolor angel
Sixline wrasse

Copperband butterfly
-or-
Yellow Tang

Thanks in advance!
I would skip the 6 line if you are planning a Mandarin -- compete for the same food. As for the multicolored angel -- I have good luck back when I had one, and would get one again in a heartbeat, and feel they are worth the risk.

Just one pair of clowns right?

IMO, a "blue girdled" angel (( P Navarchus )) will get too big for a 90.

I currently have a hector goby, Yasha/shrimp combo. I want to add something more interesting. I have done the pygmy angel(he's in the big tank now). I was thinking 6 line wrasse(as mean as many say?) or a False Percula(it's been awhile for this guy). Maybe a flasher wrasse?...... something that will add some color and movement basically. Thx.

I don't know if I would trust the multicolour angel either
I've had a big copperband with my SPS for 1.5 years... never heard of them picking at SPS...

120 48x24x24 Mixed reef w 50 gal sump w/ about 25 gal in it.

Current occupants, juvenile black ocellaris clown. large purple firefish, and a baby yellow belly blue hipppo.

Intended occupants.

Algea blenny
Pair Flasher Wrasse
Cleaner shrimp x 2
Either a powder blue tang or a yellow tang.

I would like a powder blue tang but I'm concerned about the hippo getting picked on.

Hey guys.

Im thinking of getting a mandarin goby because well they are just beautiful fish and really cool to watch

Currentlyi have a pair of ocellaris clowns. a green chromis. and had a bi colored blenny up until a few weeks ago when it commited suicide by leaping of tank (but thats besides the point). got a few corals (few differant zoas, monti, candycane, green slimer and some shrooms. a cleaner shrimp, camal shrimp turbo snail and some crabs. This is all in a 24 gallon nanocube with a large skimmer and factory pumps plus a koralia nano.

I think it will be good in there. what are the best ways to keep these guys happy? just let them live off the live rock and what ever i feed fish? usually its either brine shrimp or other meaty foods.

24 gallons is way too small for a mandarin. They need 75g+ of live rock to provide them enough food. Almost all do NOT eat prepared foods, and hunt instead.

If they're of similar size, you'd *probably* be ok. The general rule for tangs is that they should have plenty of space, be similar in size, and have different body types. You've picked two different genus of tangs, so you should be ok. It's hit or miss with tangs, you could get a nasty one.

What live foods?

A 24 gallon tank isn't going to be able to provide enough live foods on its own. Brine shrimp isn't going to be nutritious enough long term. Buying "pods" online is going to get expensive and a big PITA.

Currently have two a. ocellaris clowns and one lawnmower blenny and a fire shrimp in a 40 gallon cube with good live rock hiding places (never see our fire shrimp except for feeding time). Bak Pak filtration and skimmer (w/ some chaeto in filtration area).
What do you think about one orange and one purple firefish (how do you tell sex or do they need to be mated- or just one?); one royal gramma; a ywg and (randall's or tiger pistol shrimp- is one more mellow than others?) and the very last addition a flame angel. I do have lps and know I run some risk with flame, but willing to take it as far as corals go. Plan on keeping everyone contently fed to minimize risk of nipped coral.

Of course I have had them too in mixed reefs. However they "can" nip at corals
Common information does not say that about tangs

definetly not personal

You have a better chance with the powder blue and hippo if you introduce the powder blue last.
I added a pacific blue, sailfin, powder blue and yellow tang, in that order to my 120 gal with no problems

It's difficult to keep a school of 6 chromies for a long time as they start to pick at the weakers ones in their bunch. You will probably end up with three

Think this would be OK in a 75g?

2x Pecula Clown
1x Coral Beauty angelfish
2x Royal Gramma
3x Blue/green Chromis
YWG + Tiger Pistol
2x Sharknose Goby
1x Tailspot Blenny
2x Pearly Jawfish
1x Mandarin Dragonet
2x Fire Fish

Unless you purchase them as a true pair, I would stick to singles of; Royal Gramma, Pearly Jawfish, and Fire fish. The Chromis have a good chance of becoming 1 over time. Otherwise looks good, and if you cut down those pairs, could get a couple more small fish.

90 gal DT (48x22.5x19.5) about 30 gal sump/fuge

Kole Tang
3 Bartlets Anthias
Flame Hawk
clown pair
Bellus Angel
Yellow Tang
Yellow Wrasse
Fairy or Flasher Wrasse pair
Watchman Goby / Tiger Pistol Shrimp

Any thoughts/opinions? If I have a Bellus Angel, probably should not have a Yellow Tang.

More details on what I have and what I'm thinking so I can get better recommendations for my "fish list".

I have a Elos 120 (4' long 90 gal) that has been up and connected to a RSM 130 (34 gal) via a sump/fuge for about 4 months. The RSM is over three years old and has been connected to the sump/fuge for over a year.

I currently have the following in the RSM:

- Perc Clown pair
- Yellow Coris or Canary Wrasse
- Pygmy Angel
- Firefish
- Lawnmower Blenny

Fish I would like to have in one of the two tanks in addition to the above:

- Kole Yellow Eye Tang
- Bellus Angel, either a female or a pair
- Bartlett's Anthias, male and 1-4 females
- Flame Hawkfish
- Yellow, Orange Spotted or some type of Goby and a Tiger Pistol Shrimp
- Additional Wrasse like Flasher, Fairy, ? pair

Other possibilities:

- Yellow Tang
- Blue Spotted Jawfish (would be better in RSM with its deeper sand)
- ?

I would like to have jumpers in the RSM and keep the Elos open, not sure if that's an option with my wish list. I have made a nice screen top for the Elos and have no problems using it. I am open to suggestions and appreciate opinions. I am not locked into to any fish except the ones I already own in the RSM.

Oh, the sand in the RSM is about 3+ inches and the Elos is about 2". The RSM has lots of rock and the Elos is very open with losts of swimming space. Both tanks are mixed reef but the Elos will have more SPS. I have a Cleaner Shrimp in both tanks and a Coral Banded Shrimp in the Elos. Mostly snails in both tanks with a few crabs. I do have a QT that is stable and ready.

Thank you in advance in this important decision.

Todd

75G reef, 20G sump, 260W of PC (2 65W 10,000K and 2 65W Actinic), 300W heater and quite a bit of live rock, so far, the only inhabitant with the live rock is a cocktail shrimp... tank is cycling nicely!
I want to get a pair of Ocellarus (sp?) clowns (Local LFS has them in a small tank together waiting on me)
and way down the road, a Mandarin... I also want to do coral, but not sure what kinds... I am brand new to Marine aquaria, just been reading a lot and asking questions here and there...
Suggestions welcome!!

You have lots of reef rock so you should be alright
You have a number of territorial reef dwellers in your selection, hawk fish, flame angel six line wrasse and coral beauty
also you are introducing two dwarf angels to your tank which can be very problematic.
