after getting mine and setting it up. I have the 32b-4v-19whites.
be CAREFUL of how much blues you get. mine are just overpowering for my tastes, but it'll do. also, let the lights burn in a few days before you judge. Here are images: ![]() 100% blue ![]() 100% both ![]() 100% white ![]() gsp under 100% blue ![]() another gsp under 100% blue ![]() gsp under 100% white Last edited by ihigh; 07/06/2012 at 05:57 PM. |

Ok new revision (Do you think I should add more white based on ihigh's post)?
![]() Do you think there is too much violet? I took out two of the reds and added two more violet. Also think I am sticking with the 630nm which is more yellow and I know 660nm would add more pop but does nothing for coral and red gets filtered out first anyways. What do you guys/gals think? Problem is now I can't get in touch with them to order. I know its Saturday there but they didn't mention nobody would be there last night. |

Ok here is a question on these chiness lights. If we could get them in Cree is it worth let's say an extra 1 dollar per led. So like basically extra 55 bucks. To have them do it in Cree led? I think I can get a fixture similar to the d120 with three fans 55 cree led knob dimmable and LCD display set sunrise ect. Cost would be around 200. Thoughts

This and the reefbreeders Cree models are the best chinese one's I've seen so far. None of them use the newer Cree XT-E Whites and Blues, and none use the even more efficient Philips Luxeons. I wanted a new Cree XT-E fixture myself, and the only options are the Maxspect Razor or DIY right now. http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs...olesalers.html |

I'm also considering just two of these instead: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/54...set_lunar.html Two fixtures vs four would be nice and having the remote control would be nice. Bhazard and anyone else I'd like a final chime-in if you don't mind before purchase. Bottom line is two of these: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/54...set_lunar.html or four of these: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/54...ight_with.html Top one has remote and bottom one has dimmer dials. I can do the optics and led colors the same in each. With SD card you can simulate sunrise/sunset with the remote control one. It's a little more expensive but has better technology imho. Remote would be nice to change color without being on ladder.

Snausy,
I would say the red & green Are going to be worth it when I add my Corals Only,, And Only do you see the splotchy spots of red & green if you run them @ full power. I am only running mine @ 40%-50%. I tested my water ( finaly.. full cycle ) did a water change & now added 2 clowns & a cleanup crew today. Seeing these clowns in my tank compared to the LFS....Massive amount of color difference. And to play with the % on the red & green leds makes them pop even more. I'll do my best to get a decent shot of the tank now . |

All I can say is be careful when adding these led's to your tank! I have two A6's and am currently running at about 20%, at first had them at about 40% and bleached a few sps!

Just pulled the trigger on D120. Ordered the one they had listed w/26blue,25 white,4 violet.
Gonna put it over my 24 cube that has RBTA and GBTA. Currently running a viper 150w MH so I'm guessing this light will be a little overkill. But I think I will get some great growth out of these guys now considering they are for aquaculture. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! Oh and they said total processing time 10 days? Did you who ordered have to wait that long... Damn this weekend has been full of knockoffs LoL!! Last night ordered the EBay skimmer that's mimicking the reef octopus that a lot of guys are raving about and tonight this. Now it's hurry up and wait. Hopefully these are as good as you all say so I can get three ordered for my 150 peninsula build coming soon. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to spend money guys LOL!! |
