Does the sagging happen on a particular size model more often? I have the 48" model and it's ok after 7 months. Or is this something to expect eventually?

Not sure I have never had sagging as mine has the screw to hold it on one end and the bracket I made on the other.

considering the ATI Powermodule hybrid....

Need some help here! I just recently purchased a 120 gallon Reef Savvy 48"long x 28"wide x 22"high. Aesthetics and functionality are important to me. Mainly keeping SPS mid to top and LPS on the lower portion of the tank. I'm considering one of the two light fixtures and need your opinion on what I should I go with.

ATI2607 36" 2x75W LED & 8x39W T5 LED-Powermodule or
ATI2611 48" 3x75W LED & 8x54W T5 LED-Powermodule

My other question, does the 36" long t5 bulbs penetrate as deep and put out the same amount of par as the 48" bulb?

Mine came from factory with screws on both ends. Is that what prevents sagging?

For comparison I have a 52" long tank and I went with the 48" model. I felt the 36" would miss the edges with LED coverage since it only has 2 clusters. Probably be ok with T5 coverage.

Nice job, but I would never settle for that, lights are expensive. Mine had a small dent when delivered, and after contracting ATI, they sent a replacement right away.

If you already have the ATI T5 then get a pair of Reef Brite LEDs and you will have a sweet combo. If you prefer an all in one hybrid get the LED Powermodule. It's an excellent lamp and really well built. No lost programming here.

Been using the fixture for 8 months now. I have the 60" 4 bulb. I do like the color I am a able to get. Most everyone in the thread seemed to run 8 bulb, so it was harder for me to try for my own combo and intensity. I was killing my sps when mounted high in the tank, so I rented a par meter. I got 600par 3/4 to top, 400 par around 1/2 way up tank, 250 or so at the sand with the led's at 45pct. I will say for color, I found this fixture to be more t5's with led supplements, meaning most of the color was based on my t5's. my t5's are not dimmable, and I do not have a problem with the programming. I also bought the fixture after the newer led's came out, and received the old led cluster

Just to compare notes:
I have a 48" 4 bulbs hybrid. The intensity is slowly ramped up. Now it is at 58% for both led (R set at 25, B 190, RB 255, W 90) and T5. The light is 10" above water.
11" below water surface, par is 300
22" from surface (bottom of tank), par is 240.

I plan to have it all the way 100% but I will watch carefully not to bleach any coral.

How high off the water do you run your light?

What unit would you recommend for 36x20x20 sps dominant? Would the 4x24 cover it?
