So I finished drying the sand today and added to the tank. While the sand baked in the sun, I cleaned and plumbed the frag tank.

Very nice... It is getting there. It really is... I like the layout and use of space. How much LR are you going to put in the sump?

Is that a Saab? I love Saabs! They've always made some great looking cars.

Is that Butterfly reef safe? I've not had any experience with them.

The mimic is very aggressive right? Should be the only tang in the tank, so it out for me. The butterfly is one of the two butterfly's considered reef safe. This is coming from a trusted LFS. I will do some research but I love him. He a little pricey at $450.

I don't have a clear amount, but the area of the sump I labeled as equipment will be full of it.

It is a Saab! I have always wanted to belong to the Saab club, and now I am. They really do make great cars!

I've read that before but I have previously had a Lemon Peel Mimic Tang and never had any problem with him. Very docile, he was the smallest tang in the tank though and last placed in, so that could have been why.

You'll love that Naso. What size are you planning on getting it?

Man keep an eye on that Tinker. Everywhere I read it eats invertebrates, mushrooms, and zoas. Maybe SPS also. Hope he just told you that to make a quick buck as those fish do demand a high price tag.

Great looking progress. I really like the "ABC reefs" touch! Can't wait to see how it unfolds

I want all my tangs to start a little guys. I want to keep them around as long as possible.

I haven't done any research on theses guys. I am thinking that these are hit or miss, I thrust the the LFS guy. With that said I will be researching all of these fish extensively before they go in the tank. Thank Wayne for your input on the matter, I trust your opinion as much as the LFS guy.

Thanks for tagging along! The ABC thing was just an after thought. I think it gives it a personal touch.

Looking good, you beat me! I think you need another 1-2 inches more of water so you can pull it to the sump!

Some toys have arrived!!!!! So I bought from a very nice member, Pyton, a number of items. First I have two tunze 6305. These puppies are in the tank and can blow water out if needed. (Why I would need to I don't know, but I can). I have looked into the upgrade offered by tunze, and Roger has been very helpful. I also got a skimmer! This was made by a employee of MRC, and therefor modeled after a MRC MR3-R. This thing is a beast! It stands at 32" high and is 27 long. It has double stacks for extra manliness. The seller also included a collection container. This is going to be great! The reeflo blowhole is going to be used as a recirculating pump for skimmer. It will of course have a main feed from the manifold. This is a Beckett style skimmer and I have high hopes.

Thanks I really want to go set it all up. I really shouldn't be posting, but what can I say.

BTW if I just put 7 as an answer on this exam, I would get a big "X" and a comment that read "...oh really, prove it"
