Update on coral pictures
I thought this torch looked a lot different from the one I had but upon returning home and seeing them next to each other I think they are nearly the same. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Aquascaping in the 75 gallon:
Haven't had a chance to get the correct cords run to the Kessils yet so this is with only one of them on. I think I want to move the structure on the right about 2 inches farther right.

I have not been able to stop the leaking at the bulkheads for the 55 gallon tank below the 75 gallon tank. Right now the water is bypassing the 55 until I can remedy that problem.

Won this in a raffle at a LFS. Was pretty excited about it. Installed it and it has been working quite well. No complaints here.

Used this diagram to plumb my two membranes together so I can get 150 gpd. After watching tds creep up I think I will replace the membrane in the older unit.

I smashed my hand in a car door on Saturday. I got a cut on my middle finger but other than that nothing swelled up and besides the initial pain for 15 minutes everything seemed to subside. I had my hand in the tank on Monday night (2 days later) to move my elegance coral out of the sand and back on top of the flat rock he fell off of. I got stung right on the scab from the cut and my smashed finger immediately starts throbbing. Today it is all swollen up and hurts to move. I have been stung by this coral before and nothing happened. I assume the swelling must have something to do with getting stung on the scab or right on a previous injury? Elegance corals don't get a more powerful sting as they age do they?

They are all 7 moving around a lot. Only 1 seems to like the location I place him in. He has only moved an inch.

So 3 of the 7 nems have committed suicide via power head. Not all at the same time about a day or two apart.

Eventful week:
Reclaimed 1 baby clown from the sump again Reworked the frogspawn area of the 180 so all the different varieties are mixed together. Mounted a bunch of frags of blue stylophora because of that snail that caused some aquascaping issues. When the rocks moved all the branches on the stylo broke off. I bought a Indo Yellow Coris Wrasse from Corals'n'more on Friday I bought a black and green hammer, Starry Blenny, and Green Coris Wrasse from Gateway Aquatics on Sunday. Starry Blenny went into the 75 gallon

Quite a fun weekend
My new Indo Yellow was out and looking Photogenic. I should have used a real camera instead of my crappy phone. Its not every weekend that the fish club gets to celebrate the wedding of our President. What a fun night.

I am looking for suggestions on substrate sifting inhabitants for the 75 gallon tank. The 75 currently only houses a tiny buckshot clown and a Starry blenny. I have a Diamond goby in the 180 so I was looking for something different to move the sand bed around in the 75. I am not a big fan of the sand sifting starfish. Any suggestions with pictures?

Well I got a tiger goby on Friday the 13th. It jumped through the screen somehow and I found it on the floor on the 15th.

Added a new diamond goby to the 75 gallon tank as well as a yellow coris wrasse.
Took this picture out of frustration... It's my starry blenny sleeping tucked in with a little rose bubble nem. He has been doing this every night since I got the rose bubble. I wish the clown would do anything like this. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

You may be able to see evidence of my struggle with a red cyano outbreak. Thinking of using chemiclean or something similar if it doesn't clear up by February.

I am not great at picking out corals. The torch and frogspawn I brough back from L.A. I was sure were orange at the store... now they look gold and purple u see my lights at home. Very similar to one's I have already.
Oh well... the sticks look good and maybe as they mature they will differentiate themselves. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
