Those are very nice Ken. Are you going to submit anything for the MASNA Photo Contest? The deadline is extended for a few more weeks, and your image may be selected for the MASNA calendar as well as the opportunity to win a gift certificate from a vendor. Details are listed at MASNA.org

Condylactis anemone and Blue Chromis (both are 1 year old this week!!)
I think this is as close as Im getting to this starfish, because she's really fast and never comes out during daylight (except this one time)

that is one cool looking starfish!
with the help of a friends microscope i took this close-up of a copepod, at least i think it's a copepod: that's a full frame shot- at 10x on the microscope and with a 100mm macro lens. pretty scary looking |

If we have to start posting microscopic pictures now, I'm out.
Okay, here are my submissions for July. This may not feel like a closeup, but this little shrimp is so tiny. Here's a second shot so you can see it in relation to the tank it is in. This is a 2g setup. |

Hi Scott! Nice coral, buddy. Yes, that is a gorgeous zoa. It isn't a Bytor, but I still have some of those in my tank that are doing well.

What is this? Melev? How do you filter a 2 g tank? is it linked to your tank or do you just do daily water changes? Nice pics everyone

Maroun.c, I change 1g every 3 days. I was using reef water, but PO4 was amassing in the Pico, so now I'm using aged saltwater.
Greg, thanks. I got one more good one from that same colony. And I added four larger images to your huge image thread, in case you missed them. |
