Looks like Phyllagia Americana. Cup coral. Harmless.

That's good to hear. I thought it might of been a "pest" anemone and was about to get rid of it. Thanks a bunch once again!

Worm
I found a worm swimming around and then climbing on my coral (which concerned me). I removed it but I don't know what it is - I tried to identify but can't find anything that matches. See picture. Any guesses?
Thanks |

Yellow05, i'm sure it would eat any meaty food.
Ptyochromis, the pic everyone keeps trying to ID looks like a baby coral of some kind. Is that a mouth in the middle?

Ok thanks! It looks like a mouth in the middle. It's hard to see. I made a video of it so you can see a little better.

Makes sense, it does close up at night. Its like 1mm across, I didn't think they were that small. The tank has been up for >1 year, I wonder why it is showing up now.

Diamond back worm? Baby Sundial Snails?
I've been through all 124 pages here and some I saw might match these but not 100% sure. Checked out Lionfish Lair's guide as well as Chuck's addiction. Let me know if you can help. This is my first post so please bare with me. I know I am rather wordy.
http://youtu.be/-JdQ5TbUf9A 1. Worm with weird markings. Thought maybe a nereid? I have seen tons that I could make out in the past 10 months or so. But have only seen a handful lately. And what is the brown little arm whipping at this worm as it get too close? 2. Tiny worm on glass. I always see these after my water changes. I also have the clear flatworms but can't find anything about this one. 3. I am almost sure this may be a vermatid snail? It's attached to one of my astraea snails. I wasn't sure of it's spiral shell. I hadn't seen any vermatids with this shape. 4. I know the red hair like worms are spaghetti worms but more curious about the little insects scurrying on the sandbed. Are these amphipods? Or are they too small? Some mite perhaps :/ 5. In this clip it's a little hard to make out the worm in the center of the video. It looks like a bubbly off-white colored head with two tentacles popping in and out of a little tunnel. Also, more mite looking critters. 6. This is another priority id needed. I have a lot of these snails in my tank and I've seen them crawling on my zoas. I see sundial snails throughout my searches but the coloring is off for these in my tank. Wondering if these snails are okay to have in the tank. They aren't limited to the zooanthids but i'm still new to this so just concerned. 7. No ID needed. I know this is a bristle worm But another shot of those snails I'm wondering about. |

Kind of what I was thinking, too. I had a couple show up in a tank I had 10 years ago.

Any shot anyone knows what type of pistol shrimp this is and if it's reef safe? I found it in my sump today after hearing clicking at night for a while. It's probably somewhere around .5 to 1 inch long.

Daftpusher,
#3 is definitely a vermetid, maybe a Serpulorbis species. #6 is a small turbinid, either a Collonista or a close relative. It's harmless. Cheers, Don |
