I was thinking about a 20G cube, but when I looked at one, it seemed a bit small. Thanks again for thinking (outside the box) with me |

Steve-
I'm feeling good about my stocking list thus far, but the Fiance's request of "Something Purple" Threw me for loop, what are you thoughts on the following: Tank "29 Gallon" Biocube. 23 pounds of rock, regular sand bed. Clean up crew is in, no fish have been added yet. Filterfloss/chemipure/purigen & cheato. Weekly 2gallon water changes.
Thanks!!! |

Hey I was just wondering what the largest sized fish I could house in my tank would be? Just looking for a few suggestions to point me towards research. I currently have a 40b with a 20l sump, an assortment of lps, softies, and one sps; I have snails, a PC shrimp, a yellow tail damsel, and a starry eyed blenny. Thanks

My System - FOWLR
Equipment - 131 Gallon Eurobraced 60"L X 18"D X 28"H 70 Gallon sump (48") 8 X 54W T5 Aqua Medic Ocean Light with a 50/50 combo of KZ Blues and New gens SWC Extreme MiniS skimmer TLF Carbon Reactor with Kent carbon TLF Carbon Reactor with Rowafos Mag 9.5 Return Pump 1 X Tunze 6060 powerhead 1 X Koralia # 4 1 X Koralia # 3 JBJ ATO Using coarse and fine filter floss for mechanical Livestock - 150 lbs live rock in display, 60 lbs in sump Passer Angel (King Angel) Blue Tang (5") Niger Trigger Red Coris Wrasse Hoevens Wrasse (Melanurus) Solar Fairy Wrasse Flame Hawkfish Mated Pair of ocellaris Clowns Mated Pair of Yellow Damsels Talbot's Damsel Allens Damsel 6 Green Chromis 12" Snowflake Eel 10 + Large Turbo Snails 10 Astraea Snails My main question is, I would like to add 3 more fish to complete the list, but i'm wondering about overstocking. I want to add a Yellow Tang, Scopas Tang, and a Racoon Butterfly. Any thoughts? System is over 2 years old, very healthy and stable. Everyone is super happy together, and only the King Angel is aggressive at times, but has never caused any harm.

The passer angel (king angel) will become a problem eventually. Normally only the juveniles are sold but as they grow and mature, they are probably the most aggressive large angel there is.
