I think that's the key - keeping delicates out of the tank for a few days while the dust settles... Then stocking slowly (I forgot that last part)..

Couple updated pictures - this one of the pagoda with the main lights on but the polyps retracted. Man I love this coral.

Thanks man. It's really starting to mature quickly. The pod population has exploded (having no predators probably helps - although that pseudochromis might snag an amphipod if the timing is right).
How do you like them apples? Can't thank you enough for those snails - the tank has ZERO algae. NONE. |

yeah...stromb macs are awesome little guys... youre very welcome.... and to think they all started with about a half dozen from heslinga a few years ago.... cool thing is you can knock them (the adults) off the glass when you clean and they will turn themselves over if need
those egg sacs.. when you see a hole open up... it time for the little guys to come out... here is a pic

feel free to detract - hell, you're the source of those little guys. That egg grouping is awsome. How long till they hatch?

How does the egg laying cycle work? IE: all the time?, once a month they all lay eggs?, moon cycle?.
That - and does each snail lay 1 eggsack? |

It's for a 90 gallon. How many would I need? I'm setting the tank up this weekend so I imagine in a week or two.

how many would you need depends on how fast you want their populations to grow
i guess it only takes two.. but it would take months and months for you to start seeing them all of the time (not every baby snail makes it) i think 6-12 would get you rolling nicely... i have people asking me for them all of the time... so it will depend on how many i see on the glass in 2-3wks lemme know when you are ready
