Mine comes friday, I cant wait. Tank should be ripe, I have been skimmerless for 2 weeks. I will run it in vinegar and install immediately.
Good thing i have small fish and alot of water volume, Or i would be in trouble just doing waterchanges.

It's here!! Seems like a solidly built skimmer. The only thing is that it's going to take me 6 hrs to hook it up. Why do you ask? Because it won't clear my stand I have to physically take out my entire sump and place the skimmer in it. Then I can place the sump back. I knew it wouldn't be easy Here are a couple pics to tie you over:

No more will go in!” the professor blurted. “You are like this cup,” the master replied, “How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup.”

So, it takes more than 2 inches to get the cup off? I thought you said you only had 23" to work with?

Wow, too bad Sang. The BM200 is rated up to 250 gallons and is shorter, so you could go that route. Wanna trade ?

Can you retrofit the skimmer anyway? Shave off the collection part to give yourself another 1/4" or however much more you need?

Thanks for the pics tho. Put that bad boy in a bucket with water and pour your ER's skimmate so we can all stare at the bubbles.....

LOL Harry. I am so bummed out. The only way I could make it work is to cut my sump. Hmm, that's an idea.
