Did you even try searching for it?
Not allowed to post link to items for sale.

Search for the following on Ebay...

DC 5V-24V 4A 48W LED Light Dimmer

I notice that piece is 5v-24v. The other one is 12-24v. Is there a minimal amount of voltage these pumps should run on?

I don't think that has been really determined, but the # of 12v has been tossed around.

Does anyone have the wiring schematic to be able to hook the WP-40's to an Apex? And can 1 cable run 2 pumps?

I believe there is one in the WP40 modification thread. I can't find it right now.
You can not control 2 pumps with 1 STOCK controller.
You can control 2 pumps with a third party controller like and Apex or Reef Angel.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks. The power cord went bad on it on the 2nd day. Luckily I had a old one from a laptop. Other than that I'm happy with it and defiantly worth the money

Anyone have some insight on how i can get my 3 wp40s into night mode? Where do you place your controller so that it gets light during day and just little light at night?

Best option is just to order the better senors. Mine are in my stand and the work fine in complete darkness

My lights are bright enough where light spills over the back of the tank to reach in the stand

I would go with the wp25 on the 50 gal.

the reason i ask about the wp40 is the wider flow which is appealing, Is there no way to take it down to about 20-30%? i'm buying both just because I can but it would be nice to run the wp40

I dont think thet will run at 20 or 30%. I think 50% is the lowest they will go but not positive

Agree with that I was using one wp40 and it was way to much now I have 2 x wp25 and it is perfect

I'm running a 40 on my standard 55 gallon tank and it is fine. I have it running at 20% during feeding time, but it is controlled by a Reef Angel, not the standard controller.

So the speed reduction is being done on the control line, not the power line.

I think 50% is about right if you are reducing the current going to the controller, IE a 12v power supply instead of the 24v.

If you use another controller like an APEX you can go as low as 20-30% but this is done providing full 24V to the pump

That is correct, you should not provide less than 12V before the stock controller, 18V is more recomended

Apex is over priced IMO. I'd like to see an arduino solution.

I will add to my last post it is over priced if all you're getting it for is the pump which I would, it's a beat for the rest of your tank for the money
