You could try putting some super glue gel or epoxy over the hole.

Just plain super glue gel will work? Anything I need to watch out for specific type?

Red Smooth Leaf Kelp?

This plant was attached to LR and I thought it was dead during cycle as it was just bare stalks sticking out of rock throughout the cycle. Now that my tank has been stable for a month, it appears to be growing slowly. Can anyone confirm if this is Red Smooth Leaf Kelp or another good plant. This is in a 10 Gal nano, so I'm guessing I will need to trim regularly if this starts to grow fast.

Not that I know of. I've used many different types of super glue gel, and so far none of them have caused any problems.

Just found this today. Appears to be some type of sea slug or nudibranch. Not sure if it's safe to keep or get him out.

Thanks cloak, looked him up some more and most sites say they are safe in small numbers but can multiple out of control. Think I'll get him out asap.

Your pics are way too blue. Might be small fanworms.

It looks like some sort of sea squirt or tunicate to me.

Hydroid jellies. They'll disappear on their own.

Does anyone know the name of these mushroom looking things? They glow with an orange ring inside the cap when my moon light is on. Sorry the picture isn't that clear, they are towards the back of the tank and the best camera I have is on my phone.

It's a FOWLR tank so how do I get the color back into the Zoanthids? Should I place that rock closer to the top so they gets better light?

Does it move? If it crawls around, I'd suspect it's a Hallaxa species of nudibranch. A good close-up pic would help.

Cheers,

Don
