stocking advice for my 65g

My tank is 65g (4'X1.5'X1.5'). 30g sump(refugium+skimmer+filter sock)
Current stock.
1X Clarkii clown fish
1X Yellow Wrasse
1X Bi color blenny

5X snails
4X rock flower anemone (1" diameter each)

I would like to add:
1X Clarkii clown (so they can pair up and I would eventually add a BTA)
1X pistol shrimp

(2 X goby) or (1X goby and 1X anthias)

My concern about goby is that if they hide in a place I can't see the tank would look empty most of the time.
If I put anthias who is more open swimmer I'll utilize the space more effectively.

Can you please comment?
Also is this my stocking limit?

I would like to add all the rest together since I think if I add one new fish now he'll get harassed too much. Adding the rest of them together might spread the attention on one fish.

This is not a discussion thread. If you are curious use search.

- 2ea IM spinstreams
- 42lbs Fiji live rock
- Live sand (prolly 3" bed)

We eventually want to get 1 or 2 nice BTA's, but we know that's not a good thing to do for awhile. That said, our plan for fish is as follows:

- 2ea Ocellaris Clowns Tank Bred

- 1ea Orange Spotted Goby

- 2ea Blue/Green Reef Chromis

Ive checked, re-checked, and checked again all of these fish and their requirements, preferences, temperaments, tank requirements, etc., and on paper it seems that this could be a happy group of fish. That said, I still would like to ask the experts and make sure this should check out.

Thanks!
Matt
In your sized tank, all would be fine, but I would skip the chromis.

I also saw that typically the more you fern the Angela the better off they will be as far as picking on corals.
This is not a discussion thread. If you wish to roll the dice with dwarf angels and corals, it is your prerogative. If the inhabitants of a tank perceive they are crowded, they eliminate the crowding.

I would not advise a batfish, especially in a 55 gallon tank.

Thanks!

Do you have a recommendation of another similar fish to replace the Chromis with? Is it just their attitude that makes you recommend against them?

Take care,
Matt

Attitude primarily, but uses up biocapacity with little benefit compared to a fish such as a possum wrasse. Chromis are damsels after all.

Well, they get huge and need as a minimum a 180 gallon tank, but preferably larger. They are highly susceptible to ich (cryptocaryon irritans), and they eat pretty much everything including corals and most other invertebrates. Can you picture a 15-20 inch fish in your sized tank????!!! That is probably why they are not routinely carried at LFS.

Hey all..I have a running 60 gallon reef right now with a few fish and looking to finish stocking with something hardy and colorful.

Presently 60 gallon with 18 gallon sump/live rock fuge/skimmer
Been running for over 2 months with assorted corals mostly softies/zoas/mushrooms. I have no plans as this time for any SPS corals.

Present fish are

2 mated pair (Ocellaris Clownfish)
2 Talbot's Damselfish
1 Six Line Wrase
1-cleaner shrimp.

What I am looking to add:

Neon Dottyback
Flame Angel
Tomini Tang
Orange Back Fairy Wrase

Don't really see me finding much more to choose from given tank size but if any suggestions would be appreciated.

Neon Dottyback would be world war III with the six line wrasse
Flame Angel
Tomini Tang RC recommends a larger tank
Orange Back Fairy Wrase would not be tolerated by the six line wrasse

Don't really see me finding much more to choose from given tank size but if any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Any suggestions for something colorful? I could get other damsels but I will assume there will be issues..

Kind of hard given the fish I already have but figured something should be compatible.

As those who follow this thread know, I do not provide recommendations. However with a six line and damsels resident, additional fish will be difficult.

1. catalina goby A catalina goby will require cool waters and hence a chiller so it is not likely to be feasible for your tank
2. black axil chromis
3. ocellaris clown fish (2)

Except as noted, the list is fine

The fish list is fine, the hawkfish will preclude shrimp or small fish

You have enough capacity for three small fish. That does not include the chromis but you could add a small fish instead of them.
