Thanks, I was using turkey baster to blow away gently. Will use small power head to take care of the rest.
So these palys or ok to be there right?

That looks like a tiny little lettuce nudibranch, I lean towards friend. Wait for experts to respond.

Any thoughts on these guys? I plucked them off and they grow right back. They have kind of a stiff stalk and grow very fast.

Just want to make sure this is a good guy. It's the first one I've seen out in daylight.

Anyone know what this is... I know it's a sea slug but is a good one... Seems to just be munching on the green stuff so guessing good... But it's getting bigger and bigger, infact it's doubled in size after a month and is now about 2 inch.

Yes, it's a Sea Hare. He'll only eat algae.

Cheers.

The bigger one is Bursa granularis. It should be a worm eater.

"Most bursid species occur in tropical shallow water on coral reefs or rocky shores, but there are a few which occur in deeper water on the continental shelf in a variety of sand and mud habitats. Food appears to be tube-bearing polychaete worms; bursid animals are equipped with an extendible proboscis and large salivary glands, which are probably use to anaesthetize the worms in their tube; the worms are then sucked out and swallowed whole."

http://seashellsofnsw.org.au/Bursida...idae_intro.htm

The white one with the greenish animal is Drupella cornus. It's a coral eater, so you'll most likely want to remove that one.

Cheers,

Don

I just found this guy on my heater this evening. It looked to be eating algae growing on the heater. My guess is that it is either a juvenile trochus snail or, some kind of stomatella. Could someone confirm?
