am not sure what that coral is, but what I can tell you is that is came from Reef Raft!!!!

as per the yellow rimmed acro that is actualy the RR Golden Stick or RR Golden buddha!!!!

Does the coral now have a blue base? Or is that an effect of the actinic lighting?

Just wanted to say i love this tank, your aquascaping and photography skills are top notch. with so many cube auariums around now, its nice to see there are other options.

the greenish/blueish base is the actual color of the coral, the photo was taken with all T5 lights open (6 bulbs) and no LED supplements.

The photo from 2010 was acquire from me by one of the local reefer, the only thing that was left was the a little bit of the growth from the rock after it's been relocated since the photo was taken. What ever was left in the rock work has been dormant for a few years and has only started to grow again in the last 6 to 12 months or so. Personally if the coral looked like this then I would have for sure kept it!

To ask one more question, and im sure i missed this somewhere. What is your exact lighting combo brand bulbs etc? I have used 10k haildes with actinics in diffrent configs for nearly ten years now, but am almost convinced to switch with the amazing new T5 bulbs and colors.

As per your question; am currently using an ATI Sunpower fixture with 6X54watt bulb fixture with (2) ATI Blue+, (2)ATI Coral+, (2)ATI True Actinic. I've also added two Reef Bright all blue 4ft fixture one in the normal output and the other one is the XHO version.
