These last 2 were also Dr. Mac's frags. Came in bleached, turned brown, then started to lighten up. Looks like they're going to be pretty (once they make up their mind what color they want to be)

Ok james, not only has it been almost a month since an update, but you removed your pics. Where is the fun in that. I demand a full tank shot plus several close ups of corals and fish.

yeah - I"m in the midst of renewing the domain registration. Funny - register.com wanted like $50 a year... godaddy.com is $7.99... Told register.com to match it or i'd switch.. they said they couldn't = because their level of service is "Much higher'.

So I switched to godaddy... Moments later - register.com sent me a "last chance offer of $7.99 - too late guys....

not tonight - I'm not sure if you caught it in the switch... Old setup expired 3/31 so I"m not sure when they did it.

I'll get some new pics loaded soon.

Don't even start, you havent made an update in about as long. I drool over both your tanks.

Ryan what do you think of those 250w HQI's I love mine, they are awesome. My corals are also changing to some very cool colors from PC's

Adam,

I made a few updates last week but nobody even responded. I probably added 20 or so pictures.

quiet pumps are velocity - whisper silent but apparently they run hot.

That energy's gotta go somewhere.

Truly an inspiring thread, jamesurq. Did you ever consider going with an in-wall design?

Another quiet pump is the pan world. I can barely hear mine run.

Yeah - I have a new velocity T1 that I'm planning on using for a calcium reactor when I finally get around to building one - from what I hear, they're a big problem with heat.

I figure with the small amount of flow actually coming out of a reactor - it'll be okay to use a T1 to recirculate it.

Thanks for the compliment. In-wall would have been nice, there's just nowhere in the house that I could have done it. That - and I like the look of the cherry stand and canopy.

Ok - so by request from Adam - here's a couple of bad pictures....

The first shows a couple things. The onset of my cerith population explosion. You're looking at probably 20 or so of the now more than 100 white ceriths that were born in my tank. (on the glass) and my Pagoda which has spawned a big baby and a little baby on it's back - and is working on a few more.

Then - unfortunately, or fortunately, I hadn't cleaned the glass. When the snails are producing like this - I want them to have plenty to eat - that, and I don't want to crush any babies...

So without further excuses, the two sides of my tank:

Are you having any of the "issues" with the oceanic. I still have a 1/4 bucket left. I switched after I couldn't get rid of red slime. With in 4 days of switching it was gone. I may try it again as I like the high calc.
