Greg, those are precisely the words I was going to use. That room is simply amazing. Anyone going in there would simply be intimidated by his amazing attention to detail, his level of maintained cleanliness, and the sheer amount & variety of equipment employed.

And I love it.

jarhed: Easy now.

NexDog: I am just too good to you guys. See the following photo.

Chihuahua6: Do you mean something like a detailed thread with photos and explanations and such? Hmm... where could we find such a thing?

whodah: Get crackin' Mr. Technoboy!

wonrib00: To the new workout room/ex-dining room. We utilized the dining room so little it just made sense.

Chicago: Thanks and they are both ongoing projects so there really is no winner.

Bax, Knyght, melev, kozmo02: Thanks for the kind words. Their appreciated.

OK... the requested labelled photo of the equipment side of the tank for all you equipment/shiny stuff geeks like me. I left it a slightly large for better detail.

This is great.
If I took a photo of my tank, I would label it.....
Tank - Sump -
Spilled water on the floor.
Rusted pair of Pliers
Spilled Flake Food on the Shelf
Misc. Pile of PVC Parts.

Man you are so neat and organized.

Seriously, great job on the setup.

mcdonaldtj, it is easy to get around in there normally as that text isn't usually there.

Joseph, very nice. I think one arrow is missing for the canister filter, but you pointed out stuff I didn't notice before like the Aqua Controller.

Joe, do you have a problem with mildew in your attic from the lightbox exhaust vent out of the hood?

That is so sweeeeeet. But what the heck is a Sinus Valve? Does it help with tank sniffles?

Hef: Thanks. Some say annoying... I say organized.

mcdonaldtj: Actually, because that wall is crowded, the room is quite spacious. Thanks.

melev: Good catch. That teaches me to try and do a graphic too quickly. The photo is now updated with the appropriate arrow.

wonrib00: No, there aren't any mildew issues in my attic. It is very well ventilated, including the almost daily use of our whole-house fan. In addition, the outlets from the lightbox dump out right at one of the many vents that opens to the outside.

NexDog: The sinusoidal valve is essentially a glorified water distribution system. This one has one input and three outputs with an internal drum doing the diverting. Here's a closer look for an added explanation:

george1098: Thanks.

Joseph

So it's like an ON 4-Way?

I'm pretty sure Joseph built that before we saw the Ocean's Motions device. Regardless of timing, it is a beautiful piece of work, which he made himself - like everything else in his house.

I bet he even mixed up the media that is contained in the sheetrock of his home.

NexDog: Yes, like an Oceans Motions 4-way but mine is a 3-way. No offense to Paul but I think mine is prettier too.

I started reading this magnificent post and couldn't stop. The information contained in this thread alone is nothing short of incredible, but then you added the pictures....the pictures are just...I mean ... oh man those unbelievable pictures(is that last one over the top?) Sorry, I know it's a fine line between praise and brown nosing. If you take all the nice things said about your tank and add WOW that's how impressed I am. If it hasn't been done already I'd like to nominate you for something really important . . . you deserve it. Congrats.
