Might not be killed. They normally have all the eggs and such inside. Just looking for a place to stop and drop.

After going through pump, I could see lacerations and it swam even more erratic, then disappeared behind rock. I have not seen it since.

I have hundreds of birstleworms. They keep the rock crevasses clean and eat anything that drops.

Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.
Is this a fireworm?
He has white and bright red tufts. And is pretty fat and wide. And really really creepy. |

Is this an emerald crab? It was sold to me as an emerald crab but he shows none of the emerald color. Solid brown and his arms kinda have red joints. Thanks.

Might be a Mithraculus forceps - same genus as emerald crabs. Also an algae eater.

Is it little babies of this frag? I'm a newb so I can't really confirm much until I do more research or learn from experience. But it's kinda hard when you don't have any idea what it is... And here's the video, thank you btw http://youtu.be/8wEmsbfp2Fs |

The first two pictures look like Hydroids, the last one is Yellow polyps. The video appears to be a Peanut worm.
