2) Either a pest anemone or a small piece of brown algae (think kelp) 3) A bivalve or the siphons of an ascidian, can't id further. 4) A Halimeda species (a calcerous green algae species) 5) An LPS - looks like Trachyphyllia or similar - can definitely survive and worth caring for. |

7) Pest anemone (Aiptasia) 8) A sponge or a large ascidian, hard to say, though - might be something else. |

Hello everyone
I am coming to you here because I am new to saltwater and have hitchhikers that of course came in on my LR. I know I have bristle worms I just don't know which species they are and whether or not they are the evil ones. I am hoping y'all could help me ID these guys. I really appreciate the help. |

Evening Reefers - I bought a zoa mix rock today from the LFS. I put it in my QT.
Please could you confirm my suspicion... 2x Aptasia? ___________ I'm not sure that kind this is... Unknown snail the underside - looks like it has a second shell??? Last edited by PsymonStark; 04/04/2015 at 01:16 PM. |

Hello friends
I had some things show up that I have not noticed except for the last pic, a source a while back told me something about it being jelly fish... Lol. It hasn't grown or moved in over a month so I'm not so scared. Here's some pics. i know that one was mostlikely a coral but never the less, a hitch hiker. And this last one is the "jellyfish" it has like little wiskers at the end I guess you would say, they're really small tho, kinda like a lot of polyps |

That's just a common bristle worm. No worries.

Some clams, bivalve mollusks, not crustaceans. I have quite a few clam hitchhikers that survived in my tanks and help to filter the water.
Some anemone. Green star polyps or some antheliid similar to them. Anemones, too. A hydrozoon that can strobulate jellies from its oral disk. |

Need an i.d. On this strange green thing
Hey guys, I'm sure someone will know what this green thing is? I'd guess it's some form of algae but I don't know if it's good or bad?
Hopefully the link works! https://youtu.be/PTS1oehNkRg |
