^ I haven't... but I plan to. I've been in contact with Russ over there and he seems to be a great guy.

Gulf Coast
I placed an order from Gulf Coast Aquafarms, The order got held up for 6 days in shipping. I told them at Gulf Coast and they immediately re-sent the entire order free of charge, including shipping, Needless to say I am very pleased with them!!!

Gulf Coast Ecosystems did a great job on my order and answered all my questions. I will order from them again.

I talked to the fellow at GCE and he was very helpful. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from there, can't wait!
Also, more than half the links in the OP are either broken or lead to defunct sites. |

We got a bunch of plants from Gulf Coast yesterday, and can't say enough good things about the company! Russ was so much help, and the plants are great, prices so much less than anywhere else we've been, and big healthy plants, I would highly recommend GCE.

Got my stuff from GCE today. Wow! I ordered two refugium packs, a "brown" sampler, and some inverts. The refugium rubble is great. Lots of gravel, shells, and coraline clusters and it is indeed packed with worms and 'pods.
I was floored by the plants.5 or 6 bunches of various graciliara, 3 more of "red bush", 2 of "botryocladia" (which is very nice looking), a big fat bunch of sargassum, and, jeez, like 5 or 6 more that I haven't identified yet. I am pretty sure there is some chaeto ane ulva in there too. All the inverts arrived fine. My mantis shrimp ignored the cheap hermits and snails I got for him and immediatley nailed the poor brittle star. Crap. |

I see that several of you have recommended Reefcleaners.org. I recommend not to. I wasted three weeks trying to place an order with them. Then, he says he will ship me the order then reniggs.
I will never deal with him again. see this post for details: http://www.marshreef.com/modules.php...wtopic&t=42285 |

I have had very good service from reefcleaners.org. John has very good quality macros and CUC critters. He has also been very responsive to several emails and PMs I sent. Also, I have never had any problems ordering from his website (it actually has been pretty straight forward for me).

I wanted to let everyone know that I used to sell macroalgae and many things on eBay and the most reliable place to get quality macro is Inland Aquatics. I have done business with most of the companies mentioned here and a lot are good but Inland was ALWAYS good. They're honest folks and have been in business for a long while.
Give them a try -- I'd love to see them continue. When I finally get back into the hobby -- I'm going right to them! IndoPacific Sea Life is also great for Gracilaria but very expensive to ship from Hawaii. But you get quality and the correct subspecies. I think these are the guys who dubbed it "tang heaven". |

Does anyone know of a place to get Halophila engelmannii? I checked all the links and none of them carry it.

I'd start a new topic to ask, ans perhaps also one in the WTB forum. I was able find it once through a CA based store the name escapes me at the moment, but I have never seen it there since. I'm pretty sure it was a Pacific species.

Remembered the store name was Seacrop, but it appears they are no longer in business, or atleast gave up the internet part.

I remeber that place as well but couldn't find them now. I'm still asking around and searching. I saw some pics of people's tanks in this forum that have it but for the life of me I can't seem to find anyone selling the stuff

Reefcleaners.org had Halophila decipiens on their site yesterday but when I tried to buy some it was out of stock. This morning they aren't listed on the site anymore. That was the only site I found any Halophilia listed at all.

I recently added GFO to my system and have seen dwindling of the chaeto in my 'fuge. Any thoughts on a slow growing macro that isn't as PH dependent?

Stay away from the Florida Pets link in the OP. I got virus alerted multiple times from it.
