OMG. Had to change it up. After those BRS YouTube light comparison tests and then seeing this light on a tank at my LFS. It had to be Radion XR30 Blue

Major wire maintenance needed. Took a while for me to understand the DMS kit because the connection is a bit different t from the ones you see on YouTube. It was not until I got in over the tank that I understood the track that connects the lights

The XR30 GEN 5 at 30%. Love the Mobius app with the MP40 and the led lights.

3EAC57BF-48EE-4072-9016-DF417563A7D6.jpgGot the ATO installed last night. Was not sure about warrr level placement of sensor. Installed below water level. Came back an hour later and reservoir was emptied. No problem. Just got to 10 inches in sump. Refilled reservoir and the sensor is above level. At least I know it’s working. Higher water level seems to get the skimmer to perform better

Very hard to find Chaeto. Obviously algae barn is out. Not sure how you run out of Algae. Ended up buying from liveaquaria. 70 bucks including shipping for a half around of algae. Seems crazy.

Will be making my own all for reef mix. Based upon the BRSTV YouTube video. Purchased the 4 mixes from Tropic Marin. Also bought the additional items

N18 arrived as well as DIY Tropic Marin All for reef additives.
The N18 is a thing a beauty 8C6CEEC0-99D6-451F-82DD-813650760E17.jpg 4129469F-6F8F-44BA-A66E-18E9916FC8ED.jpg |

Shoulda read better. Those quick disconnects for the N18 are inline. Will pick up some more 1/2 inch tubing today. Still went ahead and connected. The connects for the barb on the Seltz 500 are about 5/8 inch. Causing me to cut the tubing to fit. Which causes me to lose a ton of pressure. Will wrap the line today. Obviously hard to tell the pressure level inside the N18 but the Chaeto is not moving much so I just ran it for about 90 minutes last night till I can get a better seal from the feed pump. N18 is connected to a nice little timer with bottom connects which save space.

Got the Pax Bellum N18 connected. Short run last night. Sealed the feed line. No leaks now. Mixed my own batch of Tropic Marin All for reef. Very easy. Huge savings over pre mixed option.

Shoulda listened to BRSTV about those frag plugs introducing algae. Have 6 Mexican Turbo snails and a few smaller snails. Still debating adding a small Kole Tang. For utilitarian help. Right now just have my cinnamon clown and a small 6-line wrasse
