That's a really cool picture Nick. I wish I would have seen some whales on my Galapagos trip...none to be found though.

Thanks. We saw probably 20-30 whales on that 2-hour sail alone, and another 50-60 throughout the rest of the trip. It really is an incredible experience being able to see them up close and personal - especially the calves.

Bucket list item for sure - can I ask where you were?

I sat outside in a thunderstorm over Lake Titicaca in Peru last February - of the 500 some pics - this one was my fav. The city I was in sits at over 18,000 feet above sea level.

You can't tell by the picture - but it was pitch black out. I had no idea until later that those 2 alpaca's where even there.

Those were from Maui last winter. Mid-February is peak whale season down there, and the term "whale soup" certainly holds true.

Ever wonder where all those rejected cans of paint from Home Depot go? Welcome to Yauco, PR. This place was really cool...picture doesn't do it justice.

Thank you

My daughter and I went out today, she needed to take some landscape photos for her photography class. We ended up stumbling on this old house.

I hated how the tree shadow fell on it (not much I could do)...so I decided to emphasize it a tad.

We got some other cool photos too...need to go through my typical edit process though

The highest sea cliffs in the world (3500-4000'), in Molokai, HI. And let me tell you, going over the edge from the interior in a helicopter to seeing that drop was probably the most exhilarating thing I have ever done. My wife grabbed my arm so hard in fright that I had marks on them the rest of the day.

My daughter was trespassing yesterday...I know nothing.

While I did the post processing - this is her picture, so no watermark from me. I thought it looked cool...and well...abandoned.

Joey, tell your daughter that's a beautiful shot. Is that inside the one you posted? You can tell the sun is out on the windows and the top and behind the fridge. I imagine you tried to get rid of some of it, but because on the glass, it's glare, it probably can't help much. I keep looking at it and going through the lockers!!! Great stuff!!!

Thanks - it's actually another abandoned place that was only about a 1/4 mile away. I drive by this all the time, and never noticed it before. I'll let her know that you approve. BTW, very cool reflection in your pic above...and like the new avitar.

Nick - can help but hear that 'double rainbow' youtube video when I see that

Contest is coming up on a photography site for the 'blue hour'. Went through some pics I took dawntawn...and recalled that I had a few. When through some new edits from the raw files, here's what I'll be submitting (unless you guys think I need to make some other edits).
