Wow that was almost a 6 month gap between posts. All that before I was even a member. Looking good Russ. I'm still plugging away on mine and should be done with your pump this weekend or next.

I think he just realized all the crap he was going to get next weekend, when we all showed up and it was sitting dry, in a corner.

LOL! Its still may be a few months out before this thing gets up and running. Dan, nope, we havent come to an agreement yet. David, nah! Since my wifes car is in the shop for repairs for a while, figured this would be the best time to test it in the garage. Eric D was came over yesterday anyways so it was a good time to ask for his help carrying it to the garage. My wife refuses to help me carry it in the fear of her dropping it. LOL!

Great news to hear Dan! The more I look at the plumbing, I may chance things up a bit. I may put the end port plumbing to a 45 degree angle instead of it running horizontal and then 90ing up. It may help a bit on head loss. Im still debating if I should drill one more port in the front center to be tapped from the back center. My plumbing plans change a bit from what I originally planned awhile back. im not going to drill the bottom anymore. With my current Tunze and this CL configuration, I should have more than enough flow.

Looks very good to me Russ, just remember 90's reduce less flow than two 45's put together as a 90
But a 45 by itself will always be better than a 90 ofcourse.
I think it looks good and if you are considering adding a port, I say ball valve it off and do it! you know its much easier to have an extra now then to add it once the tank is up and running.
Chris

That is sweet, Russ. Nice and clean. How many total ports are you anticipating barring the front center? I see 5, but can't tell if there are 2 more left and right of back center. I assume your running a Hammerhead on the loop. Any chance to maybe have it glued for a fresh water test by Saturday? I would to see the surface agitiation.

Ill have 3 returns off the Dart. The end will have 2 ports and the center will have 1 maybe 2. Havent really decided yet. But the hole is drilled for the second if I choose to do it or go ahead and plumb it and shut off the valve as Chris suggested. I wont have it totally plumbed by the meet. I still have to paint the back and spray some foam in the inside back to cover the overflow. That would take a while to cure.
